hi all,

I've been back from the antenatal visit conducted by my private doctor yest afternoon. He said my baby's head is on large size compare with the size of average baby in week 28 (now is nearly 3 pounds) and so maybe I'll suffer more painful during delivery

.... for other parts such as femur length... also abit larger than average but the most significant one is the head... :-P but shall I take C-section rather than normal delivery??? I'm afraid of having a cut in my tummy!!! too terrible la.

He said my baby's head has been turned to my pelvis position and is in normal order, his little head hasn't been surrounded by his umbilical cord and so his nutrient supply is okay... and he said I need to visit his clinic once in two weeks time... that means... the date to delivery comes closer and closer

...

to my honest, I'm very missed of my big tummy ga... coz I feel very happy of the time now... although there's abit uncomfortable and my body shape and my face have totally changed!!! :-P :-P :-P

Well, when I think of the little baby is the gift from the God and not my belonging... so, I must let him go and see the world... therefore, I wish him can be a healthy and happy little baby when he comes to the world.

BUT unfortunately!!! my doctor said he'll have a vacation leave from 19 to 25 August...

which is so closee to my EDD ie 29 August... what should I do??? He said he will find another doctor to help me!!!!!

What should I do? Change another doctor? or let it be...?!

I'll also deliver my baby in Union hospital in August... originally my doctor (male) is in charge of my case but he said he'll have a vacation leave in August... and so may not be able to help me...

I'm thinking of which doctor is good???

我同你一樣, 都係feel唔到BB郁, 入醫院. 都係要我觀察一晚. 開頭又係度BB-heart beat. 跟住都有幫我照ultrsound, 之後, 東區還要我再照一次較詳細的ultrsound, 結果係我亞囡超細碼, 但佢話都係順其自然. 同你一樣, 醫院的食物好似份量少了一點. 夜晚有肚空空的感覺. 聽到你話無事, 都放心晒.

All,
I am still struggling whether to 順產 or 開刀... How did you make up your mind? Can you share with me? My private doctor persuaded me to 順產 as she said I am tall enough and the BB is small enough such that 順產 should not be a problem. However, I am scared by those stories I read from here that some BBs did not get enough oxygen during the 順產 and got different kinds of health problem afterwards... huh...

Dear everyone,

I am new here. My due date is Aug 5th and I plan to have it at Sanatorium. By the way, can anyone let me know where I can go for 3D or 4D scans? The machine in my doctor's clinic are really old fashioned (B&W 2D), and I want to try the 3D or 4D scan, partly because I want to check the baby's health condition, partly because I want to know the sex of the baby. I am 31 weeks now, is it too late for these scans.

和尚袍我係千色店買的，長身$59件，不過我只買了2件，短身底衫就買了6-7件，因為我諗住生左後會有人送衫給bb，所以唔買咁多，驚著唔晒！

如果醫生話可以順產，咁我一定會揀順產，不過我現在32週，bb仲未轉頭，我驚要開刀，如果要開刀，我就要諗係政府還是係私家生，因價錢相差好遠，如果係私家，我又唔捨得比三萬幾出來，如果係政府，我就唔駛比錢。

其實我之前都係諗住開刀架，因為我好驚痛呀，但係阿媽話順產對媽媽會好d，復完時間會快d。所以我最後都決定揀順產﹝如果可以既話﹞。其實我係度諗，如果要講意外既野，係乜野情況下都會發生，無論你係順產定開刀，既然你揀得你而家個醫生，你梗係信佢先揀佢啦，咁佢以佢既經驗同你講話你可以順產，我諗會發生意外既情況唔會高羅。因為之前我睇到d有問題既case，大部份都係個醫生唔能夠掌握媽媽自身既情況，例如盤骨太narrow呀，都要個媽媽試下自己生，唔得先同佢開刀，咁其實係呢兩個過程中，唔多唔少都浪費咗d時間而影響到bb既身體情況﹝當然唔係個個bb都會受到影響﹞，好似我姑拉咁，佢第一次生係私家，本來諗住順產，但係個醫生話佢盤骨narrow唔可以順產，要佢開刀，咁就開刀攞個b出黎。到第二胎佢就去咗政府醫院，因為佢真係好想順產，所以問醫生佢個次既情況可唔可以，咁個醫生同佢講，應該可以既你試生啦，點知最後尾都係生唔到，要開刀攞個b出黎，咁佢就要經歷兩次痛苦﹝順產加開刀﹞，咁個bb出咗黎都好健康冇問題，咁我諗其實真係要睇情況羅。如果你信得過你個醫生既經驗，佢話得你得，我覺得順產都應該唔會有大問題吖。講真，如果你要開刀佢重"贊"你多d錢添啦，重可以揀定時間，唔駛失驚無神話生就生，對佢仲好d添啦。

另外，其實bb d衫我多數買elle，因為覺得佢d質地幾好呀!!

Your existing doctor may introduce another doctor to follow your case, or you can try Dr. 冼世源, 余啓文, Connie Yuen. But not try 黃婉霞 la.

my mother-in-law brought a few robes and kimono (和尚袍) from chickeeduck... but they're expensive (in my view)... the quality is very good...

besides, I think you should also buy (I find my mom-in-law has brought for me...)

1. mittes (cover the little hands)
2. botties (cover the little foots)
3. bibs
4. blanket (at least you need one when u carry your baby out...)
5. short and long sleeve rompers
6. cardigans and
7. bodysuits...

see whether this can be some reference for u la.

I also brought one/ two kimonos in Wing On Store... of coz the price is much lower... but the quality is okay la.

I'm also worried on 順產 or 開刀

coz as my private doctor said my baby has a bigger head than others... I start to learn that it's not easy for me to 順產... coz my mom told me that I was also a big head baby girl when I was inside her tummy...

(this is someone genes transfer gua? :-P ) and her doctor (many many years ago) told her to 開刀 in order not to make me lack of oxygen...

many many years later, same problem turns to me... bigger head girl will deliver a bigger head baby... although I'm afraid of being cut by someone on my tummy... for the sake of the safety of my baby... (at least he's my tenant and good friend for these many weeks!!!), I'll choose 開刀... of coz if no problem in 順產... I must choose 順產 laaa since I can recover my boby very soon ma...

I wanna to be as original mine very soon gaaaa

My friend sees 曾祥風醫生 for 4D scan. Here's the info:

曾醫生 suggests to go for 3D/4D scan during 28-32 weeks, this is a good time for seeing bb's face. He will also check the body structure and other things. I think if the bb's position is good, you might be able to know the sex as well.
