How about if my husband is not a canadian ( i am a canadian), does he need to pay tax if he just stay in canada with my daughter and me? i mean he will not apply for PR and just stay with us ( he need to come bk to hk every half year i think, but no need to stay long, so he will definitely stay in canada for more than 180 days....)
Yes, thats true. but he can buy insurance. My husband says he just wants to be with the kids for a few years when they are still young, so why bother applying for PR and pay all those taxes? He says he will stay in HK when he is old:<
