she gave me 6wks notice and just left on saturday. my girls (4y and 1y) were not happy of course but seems the baby has more problem.
i prefer to hire a new one from overseas so i am still wating for. now 99 is helping me.
i am upset but still appreciate for her 4y service.
i got this information from her:
- USD3000 as agent fee
- CAD10/hr, 10hr/day (her contract)
- off on sat and sun (may stay at home only because transportation is not convenient)
- has to pay air ticket, tax, medical, rental herself
- application process took 8m
- from body check to leaving took 3m
my new maid is well educated, university graduate. i know i am taking a risk that she will go to canada too. however, i can't accept stupid or non-educated maids. i believe my girls will also benefit.
